Project Description
Dan Klein: Greensprings Board President
As Greensprings moves through its adolescence (17 years since our first burial) we have begun to work on a comprehensive plan. We think we may have enought room for 400 years of burials. There are very very few organizations in existence right now that will still be here in 400 years. Greensprings intends to be one of them.
One of the things we are likely to want in the shorter term is a structure of some kind to gather in If you are someone with architecture, construction, or professional fundraising experience, we want to talk with you for some advice.
And what do we want for the next 400 years? We want to continue to be a nature preserve. We want to be financially secure. We want our records intact. We want everyone who follows us to understan the original mission of Greensprings.
People probably mostly think about the past when they think about cemeteries. But being part of Greensprings also means being a part of the future. Our comprehensive planning process is our attempt to think very intentionally about the future of Greensprings.
